When the
story matters,
how it’s told matters.

I partner with organizations and newsrooms to produce thoughtful storytelling rooted in accuracy, context, and purpose.

Who I Am

Broadcast producer with nearly two decades at CNN and NBC News. I find untold stories in the field, stay steady in the control room during breaking news, and make complex ideas land in live conversation. I care about original voices, emotional honesty, and getting it right.

My Work

@todayshow A high school club in Pennsylvania is making waves — radio waves, that is — by making contact with the #InternationalSpaceStation. Meet some of the students who are becoming licensed amateur radio operators. #TodayShow #spacetok ♬ original sound - TODAY Show

A range of stories, united by clarity and craft.

Signals

A story about the resurgence of amateur radio — and the communities quietly sustaining it.

Originally produced for broadcast and adapted for vertical platforms, the piece reached more than three million viewers on TikTok. Its appeal lay in simplicity: human connection carried through an analog medium.

A reminder that small stories can travel.

Across the Line

Following the dramatic defection of a North Korean soldier across the Joint Security Area at Panmunjom, I coordinated access to the DMZ for on-site reporting.

Working within a highly restricted military zone, we secured permission to document the defector’s route — including previously restricted bullet impact sites — and obtained a detailed reconstruction from South Korean officials.

The piece was scripted in the field and aired within hours of filming.

Earthrise

In December 1968, astronaut Bill Anders captured a photograph that changed how humanity saw itself.

This story traces the moment “Earthrise” was taken — and the quiet awe behind it. Blending archival material with firsthand reflection, the piece explores how scientific achievement becomes cultural memory.

A story about scale, risk, and the fragility of perspective.

Through the Door

In 1957, Carlotta Walls LaNier was one of nine students who integrated Little Rock Central High School.

This piece centers on her firsthand account — allowing memory to carry the history. The challenge was restraint: structuring the story so context emerges through lived experience rather than commentary.

A study in witness, courage, and the long arc of consequence.
